Logo Savvy by Perry Chua & Dann Ilicic

In my life and my career, I have read many books including books for logos and graphic designing. Most of them are related to the ways of graphic designing and tips, but when I purchased and read Logo Savvy, I must say this is something worth reading.

This book tells the process of branding from naming of the brand to its logo designing. The very first step of any business is choosing a perfect name according to the business, and then designing a perfect logo to portray the brand successfully. Both the steps are challenging and require lot of consideration. Not only this book helps the branding and designing firms but also helps students and new professionals who are in the field of branding and logo designing. Logo Savvy significantly identifies branding strategies with sketches, time frames, and team work for different projects. Chapters describe companies which were evolved with great names and developed great brands with visual identities.

Strategies in the book are backed with the case studies and tips from the writers’ experiences that give the right approach to the designing and branding professionals. All in all, this book is a complete set of all the branding and designing strategies.

I am sure Logo Savvy would be a value addition to your library.
