Halloween Greetings

Posted by Ben Johnson on October - 22 - 2012

The time for trick-or-treating, costume parties, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing , visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, shout little witches, paper-bagged goblins, and watching horror films is here.

It is the festival of fun and costume parties for kids. A time of celebration and superstition. An occasion to dress up as little monsters, ghosts or witches. With time this trend has grown into adults dressing up as demons as well. This festival has become a theme that is followed in almost all super stores, TV channels, clubs, restaurants, café’s, retail outlets and mostly online web marketing benefits follows the theme of Halloween to celebrate this day. All the web companies will try to show off how cool, funny, and trendy they are by adorning their logos with cute little pumpkins and ghosts.

Below are some of the famous web interfaces that follow this theme and change their logos, backgrounds, and color schemes in to a Halloween night to attract the customers.

Let us start with ask.com , its entire home page was transformed into huge Halloween celebration. They have added a spooky Halloween night background on their main page, trying to give it the spooky effect and look.

Yahoo had also created a very cool animated logo a few years back; where zombies came out of the ground and danced. The logo was an animated one to attract the viewers!

The below image is Google’s most neat Halloween logo created for this theme. With a lit pumpkin, candles, knifes and a spooky effect.

YouTube is up for following the Halloween theme too, and the logo they had put up a couple of years back was a very creative one following a Halloween theme to attract the viewers.
